Author and Public Health Advocate
Dr. Grimes is the author of Don’t Let the Dr. Wakefields of the World Convince You to Endanger Your Child’s Life, a book examining vaccine safety and the role of immunization in preventing disease and reducing childhood mortality.
He is currently working on a second book exploring the role of Vitamin D3 with K2 in disease prevention. This work examines its potential applications across a range of conditions, including COVID-19, Alzheimer’s disease, hip fractures, cardiovascular disease, and autoimmune disorders.
Dr. Grimes, MD, MPH, FACOG is a physician with extensive clinical, academic, military, and public health experience. He grew up in Tampa, Florida, and graduated from King High School in Temple Terrace, a suburb of Tampa.
Dr. Grimes earned a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from the University of Kentucky, followed by a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Kentucky College of Public Health. He is a Lifetime Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and is board-certified in Preventive Medicine.
Military and Clinical Experience
Dr. Grimes served 11 years in the United States Air Force, where he completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. During his military service, he was assigned to the hospital staff at Clark Air Base in the Philippines at the conclusion of the Vietnam War.
Following this assignment, he returned to Wilford Hall as a member of the teaching faculty, contributing to the training of resident physicians.
Public Health and Medical Leadership
After completing his military service, Dr. Grimes entered private practice in Greenville and Paducah, Kentucky. He later served as Medical Director of Family Health for the Arkansas Department of Health, where his work focused on population health, disease prevention, and public health policy.
Dr. Grimes currently operates a consulting medical practice and resides with his wife in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. He is the father of three children and grandfather to three grandchildren.
